Comment | Before the collation, the Archbishop exhibited the grant of the advowson of Penshurst to John Casynghurste, William Gillott and John Master, jointly and severally, dated 5 Nov. 1536, and confirmed by the prior and chapter of Canterbury. This was cancelled with the consent of John Mone, priest, and the Archbishop proceeded to collate Mone.
