Comment | Ordinary Other = probably Thomas Sherlock.a letter from Thomas Frampton dated 04/09 from Broad Hinton, but with no year (although it is post 1734, the year he was appointed to Lyneham), saying he is enclosing the Licence by which he he held the Curacy: "I lately made a resignation of that Curacy to the late Lord Bishop of Salisbury by Letter only, as the Licence was then mislaid. Upon finding it, I thought it my Duty to return it to your Lordship, to render my intended Resignation of that Curacy more effectual". This Thomas Frampton is probably the son of the Thomas Frampton who held the Vicarage of Broad Hinton from 1715 to 1754. |
