Comment | Wright was Treasurer, and admitted canon residentiary upon depositing £100 as caution money. Admission followed hearing on May 30 1606 before Archbishop of Canterbury, who ordered the admission, and letter of July 19 1606 from Archbishop urging obeyance, "whereof I require you not to faile, as you will answeare the contrarie at your further perill". |
