| Comment | Deanery of Campden. On 25/04/1724 there was a Consistory Court hearing into a claim by Catherine Stevens, widow, that she,and not Richard Morgan had the right of patronage to Aston Subedge. There is a long account of the hearing, with judgment being given 04/08/1724 for Richard Morgan 'for this time', with 3 jurors dissenting because Mrs. Catherine Stevens was claiming under the heirs of Mr. Walter Stevens because he presented last. |
