Under the entry for Bolton Bishop Gastrell noted that the Curate received a stipend of £15 from the Rector of Wensley; he read prayers and preached at Bolton in the morning one Sunday and the afternoon at Redmire, and the next at Redmire in the morning and Bolton in the afternoon.
