J.P. for Notts., Lincs., Middlesex, Surrey and Sussex. Married Harriet, dau. of John Kenrick, of Bletchingley, Surrey, and had issue. Author, History of the Antiquities of the Town and Church of Southwell; The History and Antiquities of the Town of Newark; etc. Died Oct. 9, 1822. (Eton Coll. Reg.; Inns of Court; D.N.B.
