Mar. 31; priest, June, 1661. R. of Fobbing, Essex, 1661-85. V. of Lcundon, 1663-85. F.R.S., 1663. Chaplain to Dr Gilbert Sheldon, Archbishop of Canterbury. Married and had issue. His sons became the ancestors of the American branches of the family. Of great repute as a mathematician, but left nothing of moment. Died in London in poverty, Dec. 12, 1685, aged 75. Admon. (Cons.
