Possibly the man of these names who had matric. from Oriel College, Oxford, May 30, 1775, age 18; R. of Cerrig-y-Druidion, 1784, and R. of Llanfechan, Montgom., 1796 until his death, Nov. 13, 1850, aged 94. Addition to Venn indicates doubt about the Oriel connection, even the Cerrig-y-Druidon connection (ref. PJ Barnwell, C.C.U.J.) but since this benefice is so close to the others in this family perhaps it is correct.
