Dissenting Minister at High Wycombe, Bucks., 1809; afterwards at Hampstead. Joined the Church of England. Ord. deacon (Norwich) Oct. 7, 1832; priest, June 2, 1833; C. of Banningham and Burgh, Norfolk. V. of Royston, Herts., 1841-3. Died July 13, 1843, at Royston, ‘by hanging himself in his bedroom.’ Father of the next. (G. Mag., 1843, II. 550.)
