Chaplain-in-Ordinary to the Queen, 1847-89. Canon of Gloucester, 1858-89. Rural Dean. Chaplain to Archbishop of York, 1862-74. Married Eliza –. Author, Hymns for Young Persons; Two Sermons on Keeping the Lord's Day. Died June 27, 1889, aged 91, at College Green, Gloucester, the day after his wife's death; they were buried together in Gloucester Cathedral. Father of the next. (Eton Sch.
