Married, 1814, Miss Watling, only dau. of John Watling, of Bury St Edmunds. ‘He was active and intelligent as a magistrate, eloquent and persuasive as a preacher, and exemplary in discharging the duties of social and domestic life.’ A bond closely concerning him is in the St Peter's, Cambridge, collection of parochial documents at the University Library. Died Jan. 25, 1825, aged 42, at Thorndon Glebe House.
