R. of Neenton (to which he was presented by Richard Lyster, junior, of Rowton), and R. of Oldbury, 1793-1821, where he built a new rectory at his own expense. J.P. for Salop, 1790-1821. Described as a scholar of great reading and acute discernment; attending the examinations of Exhibitioners from Bridgnorth Free School to Christ Church, Oxford. Married Apr. 27, 1784, Miss S. J.
