G. Mag of 1843 confirms his death after being R of Hawkwell (Hawkwell the more normal name of the parish) for 52 years from 1791, presented in 1791 by the patron. The 1789 institution is recorded in "The History of Rochford Hundred" of 1867 "according to the registry of the Bishop of London" - institution on 13 June 1789, which was the year he left Lashborough, Gloucs. The man ordained deacon Aug. 1776 is said from the same history to be this man also, ordained priest and deacon in Abergwilly by Bp. of St David's.
