Brasenose College, matric. 13 Jan., 1688/9. aged 16; B.A. 19 Jan., 1691/2, fellow 1693/4, M.A. 1694. baptized in St. Peter's, Chester, 16 Jan., 1671/2, chaplain to William, Earl of Derby, vicar of Middlewich, Cheshire, 1702, until his death 25 Sept., 1718, brother of Thomas same date, and father of Peter 1724.
