John Vickers, who was not a member of the College - "This unexpected rebuff was deeply mortifying to Wrangham, and caused no little excitement at Cambridge". Wrangham's appeal to the Chancellor failed. Ralph Creighe of Muston, Yorks; 2.) 1801 Dorothy, 2nd dau. of Rev. Digby Caley of Yorkshire and had issue. Author of Poems, Sermons etc. Died 27 Dec. 1842 at Chester.
