Not yet found in Venn or Foster but Fasti Oxoniensis for 1543 states John ap Harry or Parry was principal of Broadgate's Hall, Oxford; was Archdeacon of Northampton as successor to Gilbert Smith; died 1549, buried in chancel of Castor church, Northants. Also that he was MA of University of Caen, Normandy, incorporated (Oxford 19 Oct. 1541) with information that he was also chancellor of Llandaff, and of Peterborough, as well as offices held in Lichfield
