Major Blacquiere; on Dec. 5, 1811, obtained a divorce in the Court of Arches. At the trial, Mr Park, the defendant's counsel, animadverted in strong terms of censure against Mr Lee, who it seems had carried off Miss Ball unknown to her friends, although he was old enough to be her father.’ Author, English translations in poetry and prose from the Greek poets and prose authors; Poetical translations from Hesiod; The Odes of Pindar, translated; etc. Shot himself ‘whilst dangerously insane,’ in 1826.
