VI], no election 1550; consecrated, and enthroned (proxy)in 1551; 1552 king presented both sees - Gloucester amalgamated with Worcester to Hooper 1552. Deprived by commission of Mary I - of Worcester as predecessor wrongly deprived and of Gloucester as married.
Belived to have held sinecure of rectory Liddington, Wilts prior to becoming bishop and is probably John Hop rector 1550
