In deposition, dated 19 Feb. 1638/39, described himself as born in Ipswich, aged 48 [i.e. born 1590/91]; Rector of Shipdham for 20 years and more (Norfolk RO, DN/DEP/44/48, fol. 445r.)
Will Norwich Consistory Court (Register Tennant 1660-1, fols. 411v.-412v.; made 10 March 1660/1; proved 1 August 1661. In the will he described himself as Rector of Postwick and (fol. 412r.) 'as a true Sonne of my distressed and Afflicted Mother the Church of England'.
