Additional information: Fasti 1300-1541; Vol II states he was an Augustinian Canon, and also archdeacon of St David's, his name occurring there in 1529 and 1537-47; his will was PCC. VCH for Worcestershire, vol. ii, p 43 and for Gloucestershire, Vol ii 121 etc confirm the Foster information and state he was prior of St Bartholemew's priory, Gloucester from 1510 until at least 1534; that he and his chaplains at St Bartholemew's hospital, which he rebuilt and enlarged, acknowleged the royal supremacy in 1534
