On 17 April 1635 the Privy Council issued a passport to Thomas Atkinson, chaplain to William Lord Craven (TNA, PC2/44, fo. 254, a reference we owe to Dr Andrew Thrush). Sequestered from Wistanstow by 1647; buried at Stanton Lacy on 24 April 1657, as chaplain to Lord Craven (Walker Revised, p. 303).
