Foster entries for a number of Jacksons are very confused, including for at least two called Joseph Jackson. For the man below nearly all of the Foster entry seems incorrect and has been omitted as that adds to confusion; he is given the same father (Eleazar)as two others, exactly the same dates, college, dates of matric. and degrees as others (E.g. Phineas, Theophilus and states that all these were brothers). Further it gives information which seems properly to belong to another Joseph (CCED IDs 1284 and 70843) relating to posts in Kent. It could be possible that this curate of Bromley of Aylesford and of Woodnesborough could be the same man as below, but there seems no connection at all between those places and Clun in Salop, date of death for each is slightly different as well. Parish register (melocki) gives this Joseph Jackson as V of Clun as below and that seems relatively certain.
