Foster: son of Richard of Collington, pleb., BALLIOL, matric. 1664/5 aged 16; BA 1670; R of Collington 1671; brother of Thomas (1667)
MI in Collington church (died 1703)
There is some confusion re rectors/schoolmasters at Collington - between two Richard Woods, and a John Goode (qv). The records about rectors in 1668 could relate to either of his predecessors - Richard dying in 1667 - a belated lib. cler.- or John Goode, Rector 1667-71.
Also possible that his father, Richard, called pleb, could have been the rector who died at Collington in 1667, since his son Richard could have been born before his father's ordination
