VENN
Matric. sizar from KING'S, Easter 1698. S. of John (? of Sidney, 1668), clerk. B. in Hertfordshire. Migrated as pens. to Sidney, 03 Feb., 1700/1, age 18; B.A. 1701/2. Ord. deacon (Lincoln) 23 May, 1703; priest, 24 Sep., 1704.
Perhaps V. of Kensworth, Hertfordshire (succeeding his father), 1714-28. Died 1728. Probably father of the next.
Here we slightly disagree: we think the JL appointed to Kensworth in 1714 was the incumbent, not his son. Hence the death date is also awry. Would also explain why JL senior died at Toddington
