This could very well be the same Thomas Patteson as Vicar of Great Shelford, 5 miles away. 1662 liber cleri describes Thriplow man as at Peterhouse, which does not fit with what little is known of Great Shelford man, but it remains very likely that they are the same man. It is also here being assumed that the Patteson who is Curate of Thriplow in 1674 msy probably be different man from the Vicar in the 1660s.
