According to notes entered in the burial register of Bilston, Staffs by the Rev Edward Best, William White [Wight], MA, vicar of the old church in Dudley [Worcs.] and vicar of Bicknell, died ‘suddenly of an apoplexy’ on 8 Sep 1765.
