Adm. as a ‘Ten-year man’ at TRINITY, Apr. 20, 1795, as ‘Patt.’ D.D., Glasgow, 1799. R. of Ashley and Silverly with V. of Kirtling, Cambs., in 1804. P.C. of St Lawrence, New Brentford, 1808-37. Chaplain to George IV. Order of St Stanislaus conferred on him (then a layman) by the King of Poland, Nov. 2, 1790. Married Miss Smith, ‘an elderly maiden lady of large property in Durham.’ Died Apr. 20, 1837, aged 65, at New Brentford. His library sold at Sotheby's in June, 1837. (F. P. White; Hennessey; G.
