Foster: B.A. of Cambridge (sup. 21 Feb.) 1554-5, for incorporation; B.A. 13 March, 1554-5; M.A. from Brasenose Coll., 20 April, 1556, rector of Lincoln College 1563-74, archdeacon of Rochester 1560, deprived 1574, preb. of Bristol 1563, deprived 1576, rector of Wootton-Courtney 1562, of Luccomb 1563, and of Porlock (all in Somerset) 1565, master of the hospital of St. Katharine, near Bedminster, 1570-4, in 1574 he left all his preferments, acquaintances, and relations, and went beyond sea to Rheims, and entered himself into the Society of Jesus.
