S Robert of Stratton Gloucs arm; ORIEL m 26/2/1741/2 aged 18; BA 1745, MA ALL SOULS 1749, BD 1756, DD 1764, R Chelsfield with Farnborough Kent 1774
[The following doesn't fit} and (?) R Hatherop, JP County Gloucs, d 18/2/1783, br of Ralph 1743 and Robert 1741
The reference to Hathrop and death in 1783 suggests William Sanford (CCED 37543 who was R of Hathrop and died 1783)
NB From monument Fielding (1910) gives Chelsfield MI: 'near this place lies the body of John Sandford, rector of this parish, who departed this life the 17th of July 1781.' Clearly does not fit end of Foster record.
