Richard Norres, 1546 Chester ordinand [35170] may well be one of the priests at Childwall in 1548. Note, hoewever, William Norres, stipendiary at Childwall in 1541-2 [35168] - a clerical error for Richard?
VCH Lancs., 3.107, fn. 18: In January, 1558 Bishop Scott gave John Ainsdale, the Vicar of Childwall, leave to agree with Richard Norris, priest, as to his retirement, with Norris to pay him a suitable pension.
