Question here about ordination dates as shown in Venn; records for ord. as deacon 9/1822 by Gloucester at Wells; and priest at same time by Gloucester at Wells; seems more likely to be correct as he was appointed curate in 1822, and was around in Somerset etc, at the time, not around Chester??
