R. of Lawhitton, Cornwall, 1839-92. Married, 1836, Sybella, dau. of Dr Philpotts, Bishop of Exeter, and had issue. Died Jan. 15, 1892, aged 82. Uncle of the next. This family left France at the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, 1685, some members settling in England, c. 1750.
