Said to have been one of the first Scotchmen to graduate at Cambridge. Preb. and Chancellor of Wells, 1611; B.D. Dean of Winchester, 1616; ;D.D.;; ejected, c. 1644. R. of Over Wallop, Hants., 1620-54. Died 1654. Buried at Over Wallop, Hants. Will ('Prerogative Court of Canterbury.'P.C.C.) 1654.
