Walter 1575), the literary companion of Sir Henry Spelman; rector of Quinton 1622, and of Wootton, Northants. 1626, and canon of Lincoln 1621, until sequestered by a parliamentary committee about 1644, re-instated on the king's return; canon of Sarum 1660, died at Wootton 9 Jan. 1664, buried in the chancel; father of Robert 1661.
