(1877-1880), 2.506: Gives admission of John Robinson as Curate of Macclesfield, from 'Bishop's Registers' (presumably registers since lost) as 24 march 1732/3: John Robinson, BA (of Knutsford), nominated by John Glover, Mayor, to be Prime Curate [on the death of Thomas Gilbert].
Robinson was Curate at Macclesfield until his death, and was bur. at Macclesfield on 11 March 1756. Four daughters and a son are mentioned in the parish registers and his widow Prudence was bur. at Macclesfield on 29 June 1782.
