Sometime Tutor at Harrow to Lord De la Warr, and Lord North, sons of the Marquis of Abergavenny. C. of Forest Row, Sussex, in 1836. C. of Frant, Kent. C. of Pulborough, Sussex, in 1839. C. of Amberley, 1840. C. of Highclere, Berks., c. 1841-52. Afterwards at Hamwell, near Banbury, and finally removed to Drayton, c. 1862-78. At Amberley, Mar. 21, 1840. Married Anne, dau. of Thomas Harrison, Esq., Masham, Yorks. Author, Attila, a tragedy in five acts (in verse) and other poems. Died Mar. 10, 1879. Buried at Patcham. Brother of John H. (above).
