Foster: Meaden, William, s. William, of Amesbury, Wilts, cler. Exeter Coll., matric. 10 Oct. 1682, aged 20; BA 1686.
The 1704 nominee as C. of Great Bedwyn is named as the son of WM the V. and is WM jnr. on the testimonial for Tidcombe of the same year; it is probable that he was C. of Tidcombe from 1688 (BA on his sub. and licence, whereas his father had no Ed. Qual.) and was re-licenced when he became C. of Great Bedwyn.
