Ord. deacon (Lincoln, Litt. dim. from London) Dec. 1785; priest (Gloucester, Litt. dim. from London) Mar. 12, 1786. Does not appear to have been beneficed. Private Chaplain to the Prince Regent. Granted the freedom of Colchester, 1776. Lived for twenty years in Garden Row, within the Rules of the King's Bench. He seems to have indulged in sporting tastes to a degree which shocked even his tolerant age. Author, Rural Sports; Plain Thoughts of former years. Died in 1833, aged ‘80,’ at Garden Row.
