The only one in V/F of anything remotely near this name is Venn: Hotchkis, Thomas, Matric. sizar from CORPUS CHRISTI, Easter 1627; B.A. 1630/1; M.A. 1634. (Entered, in Masters, as Henry Hotchins, of Shropshire.)
It seems unlikely that he is the same as Thomas Hodgkins ID 22376 (who signs himself Hotchkiss) but doesn't die at Stanton until 1694; not impossible, but unlikely that he was a clergyman for almost 60 years.
