Died aged 28 at Ardingly, Sussex (G. Mag. 1825, I, 473 (as Hickes) - Foster Ind. Eccles gives him as 'son of TBR of Ardingly.
There seemes to be confusion here; records on CCEdb give both his ordinations at Gloucester and by Bp. of Gloucester, deacon while a student on 8 July 1820; and as priest also Gloucester but on two different dates 13 July and 12 Aug. 1820, with another suggestion of priest ord. on 13 Aug. 1820. The 1820 dates seem more likely than 1824; also note confusion as to who was his father.
