VENN:
Adm. pens. at SIDNEY, June 21, 1822, as Barker (sic). 2nd s. of Richard (1790), R. of Botley, Hants. B. Mar. 18, 1801, at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Matric. Michs. 1822; B.A. 1826; M.A. 1830. C. of North Walsham, Norfolk, and afterwards C. of Staines, Middlesex; seceded from the Church, whilst at Staines. Died May 12, 1834, aged 30, at Botley. Brother of Richard (1827) and of John T. W. (1830) and Stephen C. (1833). (S.H.A.H.; G. Mag., 1834, II. 218.)
It seems likely that Venn confused North Waltham with North Walsham, bearing in mind his Botley connection. Moreover, in a communication of 23.10.2007, Richard Baker informs us that in fact he was not the brother of Stephen Cattley Baker, as here suggested, the latter not being related
