Married (1) Miss Richards (an Irish lady); (2) Miss Maxwell, dau. of Major Maxwell. Botanist. F.L.S., 1815. A.L.S., 1827. Died Jan. 28, 1842, aged 66, at his residence, in New Kent Road, London.
