The father spelt his name as Moscrop and Mossop, but three of the sons adopted the latter spelling.] Ord. priest (Lincoln) Sept. 19, 1779; C. of Deeping St James, Lincs., 1778-1830 (the incumbent being an absentee). V. of Baston, 1781-1834 and of Langtoft, 1801-34. Died July 14, 1834. M.I. at Deeping St James. Distinguish from the next and also from an Oxford contemporary beneficed in Kent and Lincolnshire.
