Married, Dec. 20, 1763, Mary Bramble. St John's Coll. Adm. gives extracts from a MS. book left to St Augustine's College, Canterbury, by the Rev. Canon George Gilbert: ‘The Rev. C. Naylor was a dignified looking man, but with much severity of aspect and disposition.... The rod was his great dependence on all boys but those in the first class. He was a good scholar and apt at versification.’ Died Apr. 11, 1816, aged 73; buried in Canterbury Cathedral cloisters. M.I. Father of Christopher B. (1789) and of George (1786). (St John's Coll.
