H Gareth Owen in PhD thesis (1957) "The London Parish Clergy in the Reign of Elizabeth I" gives information about this man which strongly suggests the dom William Aylward who was a prebendary briefly at Hereford was the one whom Bp Grindal collated at St Anne and St Agnes - i.e. that he was a non-graduate, former religious, and pluralist.
