R. of Sutton Courtney, Berks., 1811-17. A Conduct of Eton, 1812. Married and had 10 children. Died Oct. 21, 1817, at Windsor Castle after a long illness, during which ‘by the express desire of her Majesty, he was regularly attended by the Royal Physicians and was also supplied with every necessary from the Palace twice a day.’ The Queen also intimated to his wife that she might rely on her protection, and commenced a subscription with the sum of £500, saying that she would provide for their daughters and would request the Prince Regent to do the same for their sons.
