Took the name of Goodwin, by Royal Licence, Nov. 1793. Ord. deacon (Ely) May 31, 1795; priest, Sept. 20, 1795, as Goodwin; C. of Longstowe and Croxton, Cambs., 1795. According to Davy he died in 1809, as V. of Weedon, Northants. But he is apparently confused with his father, who was V. of Weedon Pinckney, 1769-1806; died Aug. 26, 1806, aged 72.
