  prob. FOSTER: s Thomas, of Salisbury, Wilts. pleb. MAGDALEN HALL matric. 4 Dec. 1629, aged 17; B.A. 5 June 1632, M.A. 23 April 1635, [created B.D. from CHRISTCHURCH 1 (or 2) Nov. 1642; expelled from his studentship 1648 by the parliamentary visitors], perhaps rector of Wylye, Wilts., 1660 & canon of Sarum 1661, rector & vicar of Bishopstone, S. Wilts. 1664. See Burrows, 487; & Foster's Ind. Eccles. [it is unlikely that the BD and the expelled student are this TH as none of his later appointments which mention his ed. qual. give him as anything other than MA and he was serving as curate in Wilts from 1637).
  1658 June 14 named as minister of God's word in Wylye on a marriage carried out at Fisherton Delamere.
  1660 signatory as rector of Wylye of letter testimonial of Thomas Baden (ID 10184) on his candidature for ordination.
  d. 28 Nov. 1671, MI at Bishopstone (Fasti).
