Name off, Dec. 16, 1785. ‘After officiating for a short time to a dissenting congregation in Suffolk, conformed and entered at Lincoln College, Oxford.’ Ord. deacon (Norwich, Litt. dim. from Peterb.) Feb. 28, 1768. Master of the Free School at Daventry. Lecturer at St John's, Coventry, and one of the Masters of Coventry Free School, 1772-87; resigned. V. of Kilsby, Northants., 1774-94. V. of Wolfhamcote, Warws., 1776-87. Precentor of Lincoln. Married and had issue. Buried Apr. 16, 1794, at Kilsby. M.I. (The statement that he entered at Lincoln College, Oxford, seems to be a mistake, for his name does not occur in Al. Oxon.
