Junior Proctor, 1780-1. R. of Framlingham with Saxtead, Suffolk, from 1782. F.R.S., 1769. Married, Anna Groom, and had 11 children. Cole describes him as 'one who has been deranged in his intellect'. In 1769 he was so heavily in debt that there was a College order sequestrating his dividends to pay his debts to Fellows and College servants. Died Feb. 1, 1813, aged 70. M.I. in Framlingham Church.
